♦ DAUM CRYSTAL LAMP :

In honor of the 140th anniversary of the Daum studio in 2018, the crystal factory wanted to reinterpret its iconic piece, “the mushroom lamp.” Named Resonance and released in numbered editions, this rounded lamp has a new, contemporary design and comes in 4 colors: boreal green, ink blue, Paris gray and rosewood red.

In the nineteenth century, the Daum brothers would be the first to adorn electric lights with glass, while associating with artists of the time, such as Majorelle and the talented designer Henry Bergé. These talented men would constitute the famous “School of Nancy.”

Exemplifying creativity and expertise, this collection perfectly reflects the work of the Daum “pâte de cristal” workshop in Nancy. The champagne-colored metal frame adds a touch of elegance and modernity to the collection. The light allows the piece to come alive through crystal with soft and sparkling colors. This lamp reveals its most beautiful self through LEDs, revealing a shower of bubbles engraved in the lampshade. True to its DNA, the studio continues to influence the history of design.
