Created in 2006 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of RIEDEL, the Amadeo decanter pays poetic homage to one of the greatest composers in history: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, born in the same year as the Austrian crystal manufacturer. Its lyre-shaped silhouette gracefully evokes the curves of a stringed instrument, transforming the serving of wine into an act as melodious as it is solemn.
Hand-blown from pure crystal, the Amadeo combines aesthetics, functionality, and emotion. The wine is poured through the wide opening, where it delicately aerates, then served from the opposite, thinner end, with perfect fluidity.
A colored crystal thread, fused into the material, gives this piece the subtle shade of your choice.

Nothing is more elegant and efficient than using RIEDEL’s stainless steel cleaning beads, designed to remove dust, tannin residue, and light stains. Here’s how:
Infinitely reusable, these beads are a valuable companion for preserving the brilliance of your RIEDEL decanters.
For pure and unaltered decanting, always avoid dishwashing liquid, boiling water, and bleach.
For persistent stains, we recommend using an effervescent denture-cleaning tablet or a soft-bristled brush with warm water and a dash of lemon juice to prevent limescale.
Always complete the process with a careful drying using a soft microfiber or cotton cloth. Finally, insert a twisted piece of paper towel into the neck of the decanter to absorb any remaining moisture.
