CRAFT SCULPTURE LADYBUG CRYSTAL : Handcrafted crystal ladybug ( 4cm long).

Craft sculpture , it’s normal to occur – inclusions , bubbles, irregularities in the crystal, things that are inevitable because of the manual manufacture of these products, which also show the imperfections artisanal character. The manufacturing of the crystal takes place according to the techniques of origin. The mixture of silica, carbonate of potassium and lead oxide is carried in a temperature of 1450°C.

The House VESSIERE CRISTAUX Baccarat, specialist of the crystal since 1882, sells retail, Baccarat, Daum, Lalique as well as earthenwares of Lorraine.

His founder Justin Vessière father, was a highly skilled engraver beside his master J-B. Simon, among whom several of their masterpieces, made separately or in common, still exist.

Justin Vessière, having gone round the world by presenting the manufacturing of Baccarat in numerous exhibitions (since New York and Chicago until Saint Petersburg, via Liverpool and Edinburgh) obtained with his sons the highest rewards for their presentation and their works of engraving on crystals.

The house Vessière Cristaux, the 4th generation situated in Baccarat, offers you the great classics of the crystal, such as you the Harcourt service from Baccarat, vases Bacchantes Lalique, or still crystal pastas from Daum.
