Chen Changwei (陈长伟), born in 1973 in Luoping, Yunnan Province, is a Chinese sculptor whose work is imbued with poetry and symbolism.

A graduate of the Yunnan Institute of Arts in Kunming, where he teaches sculpture, he won First Prize at the 2nd Yunnan Sculpture Exhibition in 2001.

Since 2004, he has distinguished himself with the creation of a fascinating zodiac cycle, in which each animal bust reveals a subtle balance between qualities and flaws. His work, exhibited both in China and internationally, combines surrealism and spiritual heritage with a captivating modernity.
