ARTIST MADELEINE VEN DER KNOOP :

Madeleine van der Knoop is a distinguished Belgian sculptor, born in Brussels in 1953. Since her earliest childhood, she has felt the desire to express herself differently, particularly through paintings and sculptures. This talented artist dedicates a true cult to nature and pays tribute to it through her works. True masterpieces, the sculptures of Madeleine van der Knoop reveal an intense realism with a personal touch. She possesses a particular talent to reinterpret human or animal figures taken on the spot in her sculptures.

Known and recognized on the international scene for her bird sculptures, she observes her subject in great detail before creating a sketch of her work, where movement occupies a primordial dimension.

Following the extraordinary creations of Madeleine van der Knoop and Daum, such as the spectacular Prestige Eagle“L’Aigle Prestige” and the gyrfalcon “Le Faucon Gerfaut” with a precious finish, a new exceptional piece is born from this rich collaboration: the Falcon Head “Tête de Faucon”.
